PLAYLIST: On Your Way Home

Saturday, February 23, 2019

Dear reader, this playlist is for when you're on your way home.

Most of the time I wrestle with my desire in wanting to get home early so I can rest right away, dabble in my hobbies, and have a good extended chat with my parents, but it doesn't always happen that way. There's no telling when the lines are long, or when cars are crawling through the highway, or if there's something that needs to be finished before clocking out.

But it's not always bad. It can be a time to think and be introspective after a long day. Or a time to rest your weary eyes. Or if you're lucky, catch up with a good friend if ever you bump into one. It'll always, always be what you make of it.

And so here's a playlist of sorts. These are just some songs, some old, some new, that helps me unwind and refocus after a long day. You can listen to the playlist here. I'll keep adding to it, but this is all I've been listening to so far.

I hope this playlist can serve as your companion on your way home. : - ) Take care.

  1. I love these songs so much. I love Tom Rosenthal for unwinding after a long day. I also listen to him while writing!

  2. Love Benjamin Francis Leftwich, the Paper Kites and of course the Beatles! :) Going to have to check out these songs ASAP. Love your perspective about making the most of the drive home. Those can really be peaceful and reflective times if we let them. Hope you are having a great day! Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog. <3
